This 8-week/1-quarter evening only course focuses on outpatient/ambulatory surgery coding services such as visits for diagnostic testing and interpretation, treatments, surgeries, and anesthesia. Students review more advanced coding concepts with a same step-by-step method. Offered in evening only.         160 hours

Students registering for this course must have previous knowledge of CPT-4 (CPT), ICD-9-CM (ICD-9) and HCPCS coding principles. The clinical theory course modules cover the computerized application reinforces concepts of bundled services for managed care (DRG and Medical Records / Hospital Billing Claim (inpatient/outpatient w/3rd party payer)
